Kweye - 1 track - First sampler based release originally from 1986 on the We Never Sleep label under the Maybe Mental name. This remix is from 1988 -1990. One of three mid 1980's ambient-environmental experiments based loosely around the idea of music at 60 bpm having a beneficial effect on the learning - absorption - retention abilities of the brain. Rain, birds, neighborhood sounds, thunder, string based samples. Sort of a slow moving long and drawn out lullaby that was originally created to be continuously played for days and days without interruption fading in and out of the background. Music that is either very relaxing or melancholy, or both....
